RHO GAMMAS

Recruitment is an exciting and memorable experience, but it can be a hectic and emotional time as well. Recruitment counselors, referred to as Rho Gammas, are undergraduate Panhellenic women at Villanova who have disaffiliated from their chapters – you will be assigned a Rho Gamma at Recruitment Kick-Off and will have meetings with her throughout the process.

Rho Gammas, who have participated in recruitment themselves, have been through an extensive semester long training program in preparation for recruitment week. They have your best interest at heart and are available to help you during the week of recruitment by serving as an impartial listener and friend.

Rho Gammas are...

  • Someone who is a positive representation of the Greek Community

  • Someone who will strive to foster a positive Panhellenic spirit before and after Recruitment

  • Someone who is a clear and confident communicator

  • Someone who values diversity

  • Someone who understands that listening is often more important than talking

  • Someone who will be a valuable resource to the Potential New Members all at times

  • Someone who will be well-educated and have a positive outlook about all of the chapters on campus

  • Someone who will abide by the rules and respects and foster the same in the Potential New Members

  • Someone who is focused on all of the benefits of sorority life, not just social benefits

The responsibilities of a Rho Gamma are...
